Adam was born and raised in the picturesque County Down of Northern Ireland. He graduated with distinction from the University of Bristol in 2018, with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
His family has a background in healthcare. Adams’ aunt worked as an RN at St Barts Hospital in London, England, founded in 1123. And his cousin ascended to Nurse Manager at the Great Ormond Street, the United Kingdom’s largest Pediatric Hospital.
In 2018, Adam founded Applichat, a digital marketing agency. In pursuit of the American Dream, he bought a one-way ticket to Texas and SHRM’s “Global HR Conference” in Houston.
From these origins evolved Nurse Recruitment Experts, who since 2019 have sourced and placed 13,000 nurses across the expansive United States and Canada.
Adam has sat on the Social Media Committee of the National Association of Healthcare Recruiters and the Healthcare Council of the American Staffing Association. He’s the host of Nurse Recruitment Secrets, the world’s #1 podcast on healthcare recruitment, and a prolific industry writer featured in McKnights and Staffing Industry Analysts amongst others.
Beyond the professional sphere, Adam’s interests diverge history, salsa dance, and the dulcet tones of the tin whistle—the Irish iteration of a recorder.
